Session 3: January 8 - February 12, 2025

We want to extend our hand and welcome you to join us for session 3 of our equipping classes. These classes are Bible studies that are designed to help you grow in your relationship with God and others.

Equipping Classes

  • “Men of Integrity” taught by Jim Palmer

This course challenges and encourages men to live lives of integrity through character studies of six men whose stories are found in the Bible. This six-week course examines the lives of Abraham, Joseph, Peter, John, Elisha, and Solomon to draw out Biblical wisdom and application for modern times.

  • “Ephesians: You Are God’s Masterpiece” taught by Mandy Allen

Sometimes it's difficult to understand our identity as God's masterpiece through the confusion of sin, fear, or doubt. We wonder if his promises might be too good to be true. In Ephesians, Paul describes a God who loves us too much to let us stay as we are. This six-session course will challenge you to accept your identity as a member of God's family, and allow him to mold you into the masterpiece he designed.

  • “About Faith” taught by David Watkins

The Bible has much to say about what it means to be a Christian, not only how God saves us, but how we are called to live once he does. In this semester-long study spanning across all three spring sessions, we will be examining the concept and answering questions about the substance of faith. What is faith? Where does it come from? How does it grow? Come and learn about all things faith-related.

  • “The Upward Relationship: Identities of a Disciple” taught by Bob Allen

This spring, the SABC Essentials track engages in a discussion of the three-dimensional relationships of a Christian: the upward relationship with God, the inward relationship with the church, and the outward relationship with the world. During the first six weeks, we will engage with scripture to see how God’s word defines us as Christians: You are a worshiper of God, a child of God, a citizen of God’s kingdom, a sheep of God’s flock, a student of God’s word, and a steward of God’s grace.
